April 2025 Update

Hey everyone! April is here in all it’s crazy, rainy glory and I am finally here with the monthly update for you! It’s been a bit later than I was hoping to get it out, but as always I appreciate everyone’s patience with it all. It has been almost two months since the Typhoon Ball 2025 started with it’s pre- release and I will say that at this current moment I am feeling the burn out pretty bad. That isn’t to say that I’m not trying to get stuff out for everyone though, because April is far from a rest month!

Finale Stream

This Saturday, April 12th at 5 PM Pacific Standard Time, the Typhoon Ball 2025 finale stream will be held! For the duration of the stream I will be sketching any bust sketches that come in from the event punch card points until the end, when the new Royals of 2025 area announced! If you have enough points and want to redeem them for a bust sketch to be done during the finale stream, be sure to check your tracker and email me with your redemption selections! Also, don’t forget to cast your vote for your

favorite entry this year to win Queen, Knight, or King of the Ball 2025!

Custom Commissions?!

Keeping with the theme of this month, Custom Commissions are opening again (a bit late)! They were supposed to re-open. On March 31st 2025, but alas I lost track of time. So as of now, Custom Commissions are open again! If you want to nab a slot be sure to check out the pricing sheet below to see what works best for your budget.

Let your vote be heard!

The new Slotted YCH is up for voting now if you are apart of the Commissioners Email List! If you’re. Not apart of the list, be sure to sign up so you have a say in what future Slotted YCH themes come your way. This months slot count will depend on what is voted in, so if it is something that you are interested in, be sure to keep an eye on that slot limitation and jump in as soon as possible!

I am also re-introducing unlimited Slotted YCH’s with an updated Pokémon Trainer YCH! With these specific YCH’s you can expect periodic pose updates as well as slot openings throughout it’s run until it’s eventual close (which won’t be for a while). The slots for Unlimited YCH’s will be separate from a standard Slotted YCH, so if you wanted to get in on both at the same time it’s a possibility!

Mermay is coming! if you’ve been keeping an eye on the 2025 calendar, you will have seen that there is a Mermay event this year! There are bound to be some beautiful sea maidens coming our way, will you be one of them?! YCH Club members will have early access benefits as well, so if you like everything extra don’t miss out!

Unfortunate Delay

Blood Maid Volume 2 is unfortunately facing a delayed release due to the work load of events and unexpected real life events. Originally expected to release April 11th 2025, I am now facing a 3 month delay (and that is on the generous side). I know a lot of people are eagerly waiting for this Volume to release, and I apologize for the delays that keep coming. With how life gets, it is hard to get out a completed manga as a one person team. That being said, I am and have been working on getting the best quality of art out there for you al to enjoy and read, and I truly appreciate all the grace I’ve been given.

Restocks and Tariffs

While I don’t like to get political, and I try to keep my content as far away from any semblance as possible, a few huge events have happened that have left some wondering what I will do as a small business. In the last few weeks, I recently sold out of some popular items and have been asked when I could re-stock. Unfortunately, due to the manufacturing process being based in Chiba, with there no being no other options for me to turn to within my country, I am unable to restock Acrylic Standees and

some other items for the foreseeable future.

I know this may come as a disappointment to some, but as many of you may already know, the United States is unfortunately in a trade war with pretty much the entire world, imposing tariffs on everything and everyone. As a small business, I try to keep my pricing as low as humanly possible, as I want everyone to have a chance to enjoy my art and get it out there. Unfortunately with a current tariff rate of 125%, I cannot justify restocking some items at the moment and will be turning off pre-order out of stock orders for anything that needs to be sent out of country for production.

That being said, I do make quite a few of the products sold on my website, as I’ve bought

production tools to help keep costs low. It is still a disheartening blow that I feel shouldn’t be a thing at all that is topping everything else that is going on.
